Welcome to the 2nd Jimbo Bobby Tree Official Website! Browse our movies, books, and newsletters to keep up with all the buzz about JBT.
CLASSIC GOOGLE SITES HAS EXITED THE CHAT!!! AFTER ALMOST 2,000 DAYS OF OPERATION, THE JBT WEBSITE IS NO LONGER EDITABLE *GASP* Anyways, in order to save the gloriousness that is the JBT site, I had to transition it to the lesser, more ugly version of modern google sites... hence the makeover. A link to the classic site will remain and can be accessed so long as google does not throw it into the fiery pits of forgotten 404 errors and bad gateways.
You can enjoy browsing the time machine of classic sites, but since many of the embedded videos, links, etc. are no longer viewable, I've created this site to preserve the accessibility of these relics. Plus, I need a personal project to keep me entertained and procrastinating work. Funny story, actually, I'm now a webmaster for band so I get to work on multiple websites! With the creation of this new site, however, we've finally gotten our own domain! Look at that URL! I've also added some more fun stuff using old footage I found when cleaning out my school account before it got wiped. So although this site may not be as classic as the first, I've tried to keep as much of the original magic (hence the OG heading pics from JBT 1, and the classy fonts), but also I added its own touch of wonderfulness to keep the masses entertained (even though there are no masses...it's literally just me)
So yeah, JBT is over, but I thought it could be fun to keep documenting adventures in newsletters and adding any more films anyone else makes from here on out.
With the rarity in which newsletters are posted, you might want to subscribe so you don't miss out! Join the Jimbo Bobby Tree google group to receive email updates on all the happenings. Don't worry, it's not spam, I swear. Scout's honor.
JBT stands for Jimbo Bobby Tree, which is actually the name of a character from a book made as a project for school in 2015. Way back in 6th grade, Journey Teacher, Mr. Ashéman, assigned The Village Project in which we wee tiny children were tasked with hypothetically re-establishing settlement after the human race was wiped out by evil bees! (Evil bees, really Mr. Ashman?) My group and I created The Village of Survivors! A utopia on the shores of a river in which the government consisted of The Village Masters and everyone had assigned jobs to build homes, cook, and hunt. After creating our wonderful world, we had to write a story about a day in the life of a villager. And thus, JBT was born! You can read the original Day in the Life on this website! The story of JBT didn't end there, the idea developed into a movie, and then a sequel, and then a musical that has never been further pursued, and now, JBT means so much more, soon it'll become an empire that will someday rule the world! *evil laugh*
Are you sad that this new website doesn't have the old selection of linked sites? Are you bored in class, cool math is blocked, and you need something to do? Are you looking for an escape from reality!? If you answered yes OR no to any of those questions at all, then you should check out Alex's website! Even if you didn't answer any of those questions at all, you should still check it out! His website, The Best Website Ever (which is factually false because this exists) has stuff galore!
